The actor Willy Toledo will appear on January 19 in a court in Valladolid following the lawsuit filed by the Association of Christian Lawyers against him for illegitimate interference in honor and the right to one's own image.
Toledo's appearance as a defendant will take place specifically at noon on that date in the Court of First Instance number 9 of Valladolid, the Association reported this Wednesday in a statement.
The organization of jurists sued Toledo for his statements Country Email List about the association after the trial in which the actor had to testify as a defendant for a crime against religious feelings and in which Abogados Cristianos acted as a private prosecutor.
The Association considers that, from the opening of said procedure, the actor began "a public campaign of defamation against the plaintiff Association and against its president, Poland Castellanos, in addition to repeatedly obstructing justice."
"Toledo has tried to undermine the prestige of Christian Lawyers with statements such as that we are fakes, that we are swimming in money, that we have the complicity of judges and prosecutors or that if we could we would shoot him on the wall of a cemetery, among many others" Castellanos stated in the statement ,
Christian Lawyers asks the judge to order Willy Toledo to compensate the association with 6,000 euros for damages and publish the full sentence at his expense.
